The Orange City Education Society (OCES) is a society registered vide registration no.
MAH/237/09 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, at Nagpur. The main thrust of the society is
on imparting quality education at an affordable cost to all the needy from all strata's of our
society/region, with non-profit motive. The President, Secretary and the Trustees of the society are
committed intellectuals who are very eminent public figures in their own right. Besides that the
society is also fortunate to have an advisory panel of reputed educationists and Head of institutions,
Thinkers and Philosophers, to steer the path of the Society, who through their frequent interactions
enrich and embolden our resolute to serve our people.

VISION

At OCES, we strive to build institutions that uphold the highest professional standards of excellence
in education and innovative instructional practices as their raison d'etre.
To create a global educational community of conscientious individuals who have developed their
intellectual, artistic and professional talents to the highest degree, and who have an exalted sense of
purpose in their lives, inspiring all around them to transcend barriers, overcome odds and work in
unison to bring about positive change in the society.

OBJECTIVES OF THE SOCIETY

The major objective of OCES is to provide educational facilities to students irrespective of
gender or age. OCES is committed to provide quality management education to students and is
guided by the values and principles. It would encourage Research and Development and conduct
seminars on theoretical and practical aspects of a foresaid fields. Journals and other literature
would be published with a non-profit motive. Other related objectives of the society are:

• To provide advisory and consultant services to educational organizations in a variety of academic subjects, technical and management.
• To publish and disseminate reports, research studies and any other activities undertaken
  by the Society.
• To offer scholarships and career counseling services for intelligent and promising
  children.

Education begins with curiosity, and what begins as an urge to discover the many facets of
Mother Nature becomes a never-ending voyage. OCES has embarked upon a glorious
mission to impart education and knowledge of the highest order, to inspire and light the
lives of thousands of students enabling them to become resourceful citizens of tomorrow.
To impress upon the mind, the values for which India stands, to foster latent talents, and to
bring the very best from the students is what the concept of complete education is all about.
This concept helps students reach their true potential, encourages them, to develop their,
hidden skills and provide opportunities for their all round development.

COLLEGES UNDER THE SOCIETY

The society is running college in the name of “CIM India” under which the course of Aviation
Services and Hospitality is being conducted. The MBA course will also be conducted under the
same college.

AFFILIATION

OCES has got affiliation/recognition from Punjab Technical University (PTU), for
offering/running MBA (Masters of Business Administration) Course. PTU is in turn recognized by
University Grants Commission (UGC). PTU is a University established by Punjab State
Legislature Act No.1 of 1997 and is notified in the State Gazette vide No.1/LEG/97 dated
16/01/97.PTU is recognized by the University Grants Commission vide their office memorandum
No-9-4/96(CPP-1) dated Nov. 1998. UGC specified the courses that may be offered by any
University and since all the courses offered by PTU under its distance education program are
recognized as per the UGC Act, the courses are recognizable on all India basis. PTU under distance
education program confirms to AICTE guidelines and does not violate any norms of AICTE.
CIM India (Aviation Services & Hospitality ) is being affiliated by West Coast University (WCU),
Panama, Central America. WCU is incorporated in the Republic of Panama, Central America,
under clause 19 of Law 32 of 1927 of Panama, as a Global University to offer academic and
professional courses in Higher Education through accredited Distance Education Methodologies
and also through globally affiliated Study Colleges/Centers to confer Diplomas, Advanced
diplomas, Associate, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degree to the students/ candidates who
successfully qualify for the courses. WCU caters for the needs of deserving students globally for the
cause of eradication illiteracy in accordance with Universal Declaration Human Rights.


PLACEMENTS

The courses offered by the society which requires job support/ placement assistance. Hence the
society provides complete job placement support through a dedicated career cell, which keeps track
of the best job opportunities available in the market at any given time for the courses run by the
society respectively. This allows the society to guide students on the best path forward on completion

Students are exposed to interaction with industry stalwarts from time to time, which adds value to
the knowledge that the students are acquiring at the colleges under the society. These stalwarts offer
tips on how to face interviews, tips on career paths to pursue in the respective industry and answer
student's doubts and apprehensions.
CIM India also fully prepares the students for all job interviews that he or she needs to clear for
selection as an employee. The institute interacts very closely with prominent personalities in the
industry for regular updates on the current job scene.
